24-year-old Rishabh Rajendra Pant, originally from Haridwar, Uttarakhand is a left-handed batter and a wicket-keeper.
He served as Vice-captain for the U-19 team in 2016 for the U-19 Cricket World Cup.
Rishabh made his debut with Ranji Trophy in 2015 and then the next month made his debut in Vijay Hazare Trophy.
In the year 2016, Pant was bought by Delhi Daredevils on the same day when he hit a century in the U-19 Cricket World Cup. In 2018 Indian Premier League Pant become the 2nd youngest player to hit a century. In the 2021 IPL Rishabh pant became the captain of the Delhi Daredevils.
Pant made his Test debut on 18 august 2018 against England. Till now Pant has played 27 Test matches with a score of 1603. He played an important role in pulling off a heist against Australia in the 2021 test series but since then his batting ability has been under the scanner. Currently, Pant is playing in the India VS South Africa Test series. In the series, his performance is dipping.
